Roman chamomile – also known as chamomile (German chamomile). Chamomile tea, made from flowers, is very popular in Europe as a means of digestion, especially after heavy meals. In medicine and folk medicine, chamomile has a really wide use, you certainly know chamomile tea, gargle, baby oil, chamomile baths or compresses, etc.
Chamomile grows more slowly and needs a clean, cultivated flower bed well supplied with nutrients, for example, from matured compost. It is not indicative of excessive humidity or excessive drought, watering should be adequate as needed. Seeds are sown from mid-August to the end of September. By winter, the plants take root well, and the first harvest can be as early as spring.
Sowing is also possible in spring, but in general, the end of summer is recommended.Chamomile can hibernate in the ground and can last up to 3 years on the site, despite the fact that it is taken as a one-year-old. Collect chamomile flowers immediately after flowering, later they may begin to crumble with the formation of seeds.
