HMO Prebio is inspired by the composition of human breast milk, specifically the oligosaccharides that naturally support the body’s defences. HMO acts like a “magnet” that may help prevent certain bacteria and viruses from adhering to the intestinal lining, supporting normal gut function.

How HMO works

Feeds beneficial gut bacteria
HMO serves as nourishment for good bacteria, particularly bifidobacteria, helping to maintain a healthy gut microbiota, which supports digestion, energy, and overall well-being.

Supports immune function
Around 70% of the immune system is located in the gut. When gut balance is maintained, immune function is better supported. HMO may help regulate mild inflammation and support natural defences.

Helps protect against harmful microbes
HMO can act as a “decoy” for certain viruses and bacteria, including Salmonella, E. coli, rotavirus, and norovirus, which may bind to HMO instead of the intestinal lining and are then naturally eliminated from the body.

Recommended daily intake

Adults: Take 1 capsule daily with sufficient water.
